A few random pictures and thoughts from our days at home.
I am outside right now with the kids. Zhenya is teaching Leeza how to pedal her bicycle. He is doing a much better job than I was doing.
Now after adopting these two precious angel, I think back on the questions in the homestudy and we had to answer questions about our ability to love adopted children. Seriously!?!?! Leeza was standing at my chair a few minutes ago and rattling away in Russian. I started to cry a bit, because I can not imagine loving her and Zhenya anymore than I do now. I don't care who gave birth to them. They are MY children and I love them completely and fully.

I would like to comment that despite the Tennessee Vols item in the above photos. Mama does not like UT, however we live in Tennessee....so we get free UT stuff.

Those poor kids...with all that UT stuff in their room! Perhaps i could help you out with some "honorable" LSU and Saints swag! :-)
Also, if you move to Colorado...Heidi works at CU, we could hook you up with some Colorado Buff stuff (rhyme intended)!
All kidding aside, we understand how you feel! We used to get asked all the time, especially in Ukraine, "How could you ever love someone elses kids?" Those poor souls have never experienced the joy of holding one of God's "least of these" in their arms. I can't even think of my three as being born to someone else anymore...it's as if they have always been ours! Adoption is a wonderful thing...after all, He adopted us!

Jeff actually likes CU...but he DESPISES the Broncos!! He is a die hard Chiefs fan. That is why we figured the Colorado thing is a God thing...being in the land of the Broncos will be tough for Jeff!

Jeff and I are both Missourians! I grew up near St. Louis and he grew up in Kansas City.
We do have disagreements in baseball. I love the Cards and he roots for the Royals.
Going to games is a lot fun!
