Moscow, Russia October,2014

We are almost to the halfway mark for the funds we need to go to Moscow in October.  Originally, we planned to travel this month, but things have been a bit hectic with the festival Jeff is involved in.  We changed the travel date to October which works better for our host.  Soon we will have a link for anyone who would like to donate and get a tax deduction!
We are excited about what God is doing.  We are thrilled with the doors God has opened for us to go to Moscow and pave the way for others to go on trips to Russia as well.  We are also excited to meet our kiddos' aunt who lives in Moscow and to have a chance to touch her life.  There will be more details coming.  If you are interested in donating to our trip, please email me and I will get you in the right directions so you can donate and still get the tax deduction.  My email is smfjef@gmail.com

On the kiddo front,  Zhenya just finished 6th grade and Leeza completed 2nd grade.  I can't believe they have been home almost 4 years.  They are both growing and learning.  Leeza is a powerful prayer warrior.  She amazes us at how she prays.  The Holy Spirit just hits that girl and she can pray down heaven.  Zhenya is a teenager and all that comes with that. :-)  He says almost daily how he wants to be a preacher when he grows up.  Of course, he also wants to be a cable installer, cell phone customer service rep, chef, pizza delivery man, architect, mechanic, and an actor.  However, he says he wants to be a preacher in addition to doing all those jobs.  Never a dull moment with our kiddos.

We got a new puppy German Shepherd/Boxer mix a few months ago, and she is growing so fast.  We had her spayed last week, so she has to wear the cone of shame for at least 10 days and no rough housing.  Do you know how difficult it is to keep a 30+ pound puppy from rough housing?  Poor thing looks pitiful in her cone of shame.

In addition to raising funds for the mission trip to Russia, we are trying to prep our house to put it on the market and move closer to our church.   Just getting through the pre-approval process to buy a new house seems to be a huge undertaking!
Jeff and I have been dieting for two months now, and we have losted a combined total of about 40 pounds by cutting out the carbs and sugar.  Eating lots and lots of tasty veggies and protein!
There are other things on the horizon that we are excited to share when they are closer. In the meantime, prayers appreciated for the Fellers household.
