God is Faithful!

We got back from Kansas City, Missouri tonight after three days of rummage sale. We are totally blown away! When we arrived there was so much stuff that had been donated and were told that some stuff had already been purchased. We worked hard all day selling items and food. We were astonished to count the end of the first day total to be around $1200. As stuff was selling each day, more people brought stuff in. The room stayed full most of the weekend and people were buying loads of stuff!!! We felt so blessed when people would just hand us a donation or tell us to keep the change from their purchase. In the end, the sale brought in over $2400!!

We can not express enough how much we appreciate our friends ,Eric and Sophia, who organized this sale. The generous people of Westline, Missouri are also a blessing to us. Other great friends (Bill and Curtis..to name a couple) made a tremendous difference in making this sale successful. We feel like we can't thank them all enough. We also received a generous donation from a lady after she heard the powerpoint presentation Sophia presented on our behalf to her ladies' group. We are also thankful for Jeff's sister Sandy who came every day to help out!! Most of all, we thank God for providing the money we needed at exactly the right time. Since the homestudy is now finished, we have a payment to our placing agency due. We had no idea where that money was going to come from and now we have enough for that payment plus some for the next payment which will be due when we submit our dossier. I was so excited to get to raise the total on our fundraising thermometer by over $2400!!! It feels great to see it go up!

We are still waiting on our appointment date for our fingerprints for Immigration. We got a letter today and I was so excited, but it was only another confirmation letter. We received a confirmation letter last week, so I am not sure why we got another one. This one was not as official looking as the other one. Sooo anyway, we wait for the letter from Homeland Security. After we get fingerprinted, there will be more waiting! Waiting has never been my strength. However, God is faithful and He will help me get through it! All in his timing!
